Races will be run under wet or dry conditions.
(Rev 01/11/2024) – Wet tire sizes must follow class specifications.
The following policy applies to all classes. Kid Karts will be allowed to race in wet or intermediate conditions at the Race Directors’ discretion.
Competitors must mount rain tires only when the race director has declared wet conditions.
Wet weather racing condition rules will be in effect when the Race Director declares such conditions.
Wet Track: Raceable wet conditions are defined as a wet track but without deep standing water or heavy running water on the track surface. Heavy rainfall, the presence of an electrical storm, or other severe weather in the area are not acceptable wet weather racing conditions.
Wet Conditions: When wet weather conditions are declared, ALL competitors must mount rain tires. Only production-type rain tires will be permitted. For regular club races there will be no “spec” brand or model rain tire. Any production rain tire is acceptable for use, regardless of make or compound. Tire size per GSKA class specifications*
The Race Director may choose to run (a) either the originally scheduled distance or (b) a shorter distance to accommodate for conditions.
