The following are the most common rules for the club. More detailed rules can be found in our GSKA Rules and Code of Conduct
- To earn points
- A competitor must take the green flag in competition (ie Qualifying, heat, or final)
- Must pass weigh-in and tech.
- Championship Eligibility
- Competitors must participate in half-plus-one Championship series races to be eligible for series awards.
- Classes must average a minimum or three entries to be eligible for yearend awards.
- Race Drop
- Three drops for the season are required.
- Championship Tie Breakers
- First Tie Breaker: Most 1st place finishes
- Second Tie Breaker: Most 2nd place finishes
- Third Tie Breaker: Most 3rd place finishes… and so on
- All races are considered in tie-breaker calculations (ie. no races are dropped)
- Disqualifications (DQ)
- DQ guidelines will follow CKNA rules.
- Race Awards
- Junior classes
- 1-4 Entries – Trophy, medal, medal
- 5-7 Entries – Trophy, trophy, medal
- 8-up Entries – Trophy, trophy, trophy
- Senior Classes
- 1 Entry – No trophy
- 2-4 Entries – First place only
- 5-7 Entries – First and Second place
- 8-up Entries – First through Third place
- Junior classes
